This was an amazing experience. This cafe was VERY clean. The capybaras are washed 3 times a day and they are given long breaks to nap. These are 3 very happy cappys. They are calm and really love belly rubs. The staff is kind, helpful, and have a real love for the animals. 10/10 for sure!

What a great, intimate experience with the capybaras! The staff were knowledgeable and so sweet. They knew all three of the capybaras on a personal level; what their likes were, their personalities quirks. This showed that they really care about these animals. Facility was clean and included a cup of grass per 3 people to feed them. There was a cute short video to educate you on capybaras as well. I know animal cafes get a lot of controversy but I did not feel guilty with this experience. Entire family loved this experience!

A highlight of our Japan trip. I’m a very animal orientated person and can assure you these girls are well loved and cared for. The staff were cheery and helpful. I’ve never touched or interacted with a Capybara before and they were gorgeous. Loved a scratch on the back, under the jaw and would roll on their side for a belly scratch. Totally recommend a visit.

This was a really awesome experience. We got to interact, pet, and feed 3 capybaras. One can even do a trick! The staff is very friendly and helpful. There’s also time for staged photos and you get drinks included with your tickets. They are so sweet and the time flies by. I highly recommend if you like capybaras or just want to try something you’ve never done before.

Things to Do near Asakusa & Tokyo Skytree
If you are looking for things to do around Asakusa or Tokyo Skytree, a 40-minute capybara session is one of the easiest activities to add to your day: the cafe is just a few minutes from the Skytree and one stop from Asakusa. There is no food menu, so it works well right before lunch or dinner. Meet the capybaras, then head off to eat around Senso-ji and Nakamise in Asakusa, or at the Skytree’s Solamachi mall. It is a good rainy-day option too; the session is entirely indoors, and Solamachi is a few minutes away for the rest of a wet afternoon.
It is a comfortable stop for any age. Unlike many animal cafes, the rooms are kept spotless with almost no animal smell: the drink corner is separate from the interaction area, and the capybaras bathe twice a day. After a morning of temple crowds and observation decks, sitting down in the calm, modern space with the capybaras is a welcome breather.
Sessions are reservation-only, so book a time slot in advance and plan the rest of your day around it.
